Kitchell served as construction manager at-risk on this Native American casino and hotel project that totaled $105 million.
The expansion of the existing 313,000-square-foot Desert Diamond Casino included 165,0000-square-foot casino, 998 slot machines, 500-seat bingo hall, 35-seat keno area, 25 poker and 24 blackjack tables, 250-seat buffet, a high-end steakhouse, a sports bar with entertainment and a fast-food area.
The 151-room, four-story, four-star, 140,000-square-foot hotel includes an 8,000-square-foot banquet/conference hall with meeting rooms, fitness area, coffee bar and retail shop.
